COVID-19 Update

Dear Members,

With COVID-19 being declared a global pandemic, we wanted to share some important information about the steps we’re taking to support our TCCA members during these uncertain times. Our first priority is the safety and wellbeing of our members, their families and the broader Toyota fans and Japanese car community who attend our events. We’re closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to update our position to meet any recommendations made by the Government authorities.

Event Cancellations

Following recent Government decisions of returning to the stage 3 lockdown for 6 weeks, we are required to cancel the following in-person events: –

· All cars, coffee and donuts;

· All general meetings;

· All committee meetings.

Cancellations of the above events are in place until at least  21 August 2020 and will be reviewed as further updates / advice is received. We are still running our committee meetings electronically and will be working in the background to roll out a new membership system over the next few months!

Club Permit Renewals

If you have a renewal coming up, we are continuing to process renewals by post ONLY. When you receive your renewal, please send the following to PO BOX 71, South Melbourne VIC 3205: –

Completed club plate renewal form* (as received from VicRoads); and

Self-stamped addressed envelope so we can return the form to you.

*please fill the form in fully and correctly – incomplete or incorrect forms will not be signed!

If you have any questions about your renewal please contact Brian Way. Please note we will not be processing any renewals in person and new club permit applications are currently on hold until further notice.
